How It Connects
Provides purpose to Layer 6 (IIN) and receives the compounded benefits of all layers below through improved care, governance, and institutional capability.
Intelligence Interface Network (IIN)
What It Is
The narrative and distribution layer. IIN distributes knowledge, education, media, and signal capture across the ecosystem. It is how the Florence Ecosystem communicates with the world.
What It Does
Creates awareness, educates practitioners, captures market signals, and distributes the institutional narrative. Podcasts, courses, publications, and media all live here.
How It Connects
Feeds awareness and talent into Layer 5 (NIN). Receives content, research, and venture stories from Layer 1 (NINE² Ventures) to complete the flywheel.
Professional Communities (NIN)
What It Is
The Nurse Intelligence Network. The professional community layer where distributed attention becomes practitioner intelligence. NIN is where nurses connect, learn, mentor, and build.
What It Does
Converts media reach into professional community. Provides mentorship, peer learning, opportunity discovery, and the human intelligence that no AI can replicate.

Receives talent and attention from Layer 6 (IIN). Feeds capable, community-validated practitioners into Layer 4 (NAIO) for certification and governance roles.
Governance Institutions (NAIO)
What It Is
The NAIO Institute. The governance authority layer that converts community capability into standards, certification, and institutional legitimacy. This is where trust is manufactured.
What It Does
Defines governance standards. Issues NAIO-C (Certified), NAIO-A (Advanced), and NAIO-F (Fellow) credentials. Registers agents. Maintains the institutional registry. Conducts governance reviews.

Receives practitioners from Layer 5 (NIN). Provides governance authority and certification to Layer 3 (EDENA) for ethical enforcement.
Ethical Intelligence Layer (EDENA)
What It Is
The Ethical Decision Engine for Nurse-led AI. EDENA converts governance principles into executable risk classification and escalation logic. The runtime ethics layer.
What It Does
Classifies every AI action into Green (automated), Yellow (supervised), or Red (human-only) tiers. Enforces escalation paths. Prevents unauthorized autonomous action. Protects patients.

What It Is

What It Is

What It Does
